The RAPS European Clinical, Risk, and Postmarket Surveillance Conference is part of a newly launched RAPS conference series. It aims to enable participants to explore key topics in-depth by creating a collaborative environment for education and professional development. It started in 2023 with a focus on the Risk Management and Clinical Evaluation processes. In 2024, the conference was expanded to include the Post-market Surveillance process.

What's special about this conference? A meeting of experts explicitly for these three subject areas, which offers the opportunity for exciting discussions on best practices and interfaces between the processes.

A special highlight: the closing plenary session entitled "The Holy Trinity of the MDR – Risk management, Clinical evaluation and PMS”. Following the success of the first “Family Therapy Session” at the RAPS Euro Convergence in May 2024, a second “Therapy Round” will take place: This time Sarah Panten will appear as “Auntie Claim” and argue with her family members - “Mr. Risk” and “Ms. Clinical” - about the importance of clinical and non-clinical evidence for marketing claims.
