SMART standards, centralized management of regulatory information & integration into product development
Digitalization is massively changing the way requirements engineering works - this also applies to standardization processes of international and national standardization organizations. As a result, the integration of regulatory requirements into product development will change.
In this digital_Blink we have Sven Bergander from the German Beuth Verlag (new: DIN Media) as a guest. He provides an overview of the new SMART standard format and existing services for the automated import of regulatory information from an external database. He will also discuss the potential of AI and Large Language Models (LLM) as well as the current status of the use of these technologies.
Afterwards Lukas Vogler from avasis solutions demonstrates, how the individual information units of a standard can be evaluated in a digitalized way, followed by efficient integration and traceability in requirements engineering as well as verification and validation documentation.
